Adult ADHD/ADD has been a particular interest of mine for over two decades now. I think this likely came on the back of completing ADHD assessments for children in an NHS children’s service prior to doctoral training in 2005. Although I do not currently offer ADHD assessments I do offer treatment for adult ADHD to help people manage the symptoms following receiving your diagnosis.

Treatment for Adult ADHD

Treatment for Adult ADHD includes psychosocial interventions, coaching principles and developing a greater understanding of how ADHD affects you.

Whilst ADHD cannot be cured, we can utilise strategies to specifically help with difficulties caused by ADHD.  The aim in the intervention stage is to:

• help you understand the ADHD/ADD difficulties specific to you
• explore strategies to help manage these difficulties in situations specific to your life
• give you hope of managing your adult ADHD symptoms
